warranty information

 

 

  • All warranty repairs must be accompanied by a copy or your warranty paper.

  • Time Machine® tattoo machines carry a limited lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects (except for springs, capacitor and contact screw). This limited warranty is transferable if a sale or transfer of the tattoo machine is registered with Time Machine® within 30 (thirty) days of the transfer of ownership and the tattoo machine is returned to Time Machine® for inspection and tuning within 90 (ninety) days of the transfer.

  • This limited warranty is offered on Time Machine® tattoo machines sold by Time Machine ® or its registered distributors. A new warranty will be issued in the event of the sale or transfer of ownership of the tattoo machine, subject to the limitations listed above.

  • Within the warranty period, your tattoo machine must be repaired by Time Machine® only.

 

  • Time Machine® will not provide any warranty service:

  1. if there was damage while in the possession of the consumer not resulting from a defect in manufacturing;

  2. if there was damage caused by tampering with, removing, replacing covered parts or by other than normal use.

  3. if repaired by anyone other than Time Machine® . 

 

DISCLAIMS LIABILITY FOR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES FOR BREACH OF ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY, INCLUDING WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, WITH RESPECT TO THIS TATTOO MACHINE.

Time Machine® LIMITS THE DURATION OF ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY TO THE LIFETIME OF THE PURCHASER.

In order to transfer a warranty to the new owner, we require the following:

 

-Bill of Sale (verifying the legitimate release of the machine from previous owner to the new owner)

-Certificate of Authenticity (if available)

-Contact information for the previous owner so that we can locate them in our system to verify they are the original owner.

 

Required information:

-Name

-Phone Number that they would have associated with their account.

 

Once that information has been verified, we can relinquish the warranty to the new owner.

 

If a new certificate is requested after the above information is received, we will mail you a new copy of your certificate at that time.

-Name, Address, Telephone #, and Email Address.

-Detailed information on what you would like done to your machine i.e. tune-up, reset it as a liner/shader, stating the nature of the issue you're experiencing, etc.

-A legible copy of your Certificate of Authenticity (if you have one)

 

 

You will be responsible for the following charges:

$30/half-hour of labor

**The amount of work that is requested/needs to be done to the machine will determine the length of time required to get it back to it's original running condition.**

Price varies by location, preferred shipping method, and package weight
 

**We will call you before we start any work to give you an estimate on the repair price. All shipping costs will be determined by customer service, not the machinist.**

​

**Any repairs left in our possession for 30 days or more will be charged a 10% stocking fee!**
